Before buying this system I had bought the Bose lIfestyle 12 Series II system. I was upset with as it had only a single CD player and did not have the latest technology. I then bought SONY as I read a lot of good reviews about it. Before returning back BOSE I connected both BOSE and SONY to a single audio source and played it alternatively. Let me tell you BOSE is totaly different audio system. The bass and voice clarity I got in BOSE could not be obtained in SONY. Well! but if you look at the price, SONY was half the cost of BOSE. Comparison realy does not justifies.

One thing I notice was HT5100 is equivalent of cobination of HTDDW830 and DVPNV600 and if you buy these two seperately they will be cheaper than HT5100. Isn’t that weird. I would expect SONY to give me a price break on the package.
