My husband saw this unit at Sam’s Club and practically got on his knees and begged for it. We bought one of the first DVD players that came out, so it was time to upgrade to something more in the living room. Not to mention, my Dad had a home theatre system and my husband was envious lol. The first thing we loved was the 5 disc changer. I recently purchased a bunch of children’s DVD’s for the kids, and I liked the idea of loading it up so they could watch any number of DVD’s. Of course, my husband was only interested in the surround sound…”what fun is a movie if you can’t FEEL the music?” he quipped. So, we bought it and came home and set it up. It is REALLY easy to set up if you have basic knowledge of electronics. The remote is also easy to program to your current TV. This is a big plus because I hate having to call my husband at work and ask him how to fix the remote because the kids have screwed it up. The quality of the DVD player is excellent and the speakers are very clear. Other than the plethora of wiring involved in getting your speakers in the correct place, this is a pretty straight forward and easy to use system. I really this being an all in one system because I was able to get rid of the old stereo and it’s sad speakers. I can listen to music on CD, play the radio, or “feel” a movie. Just what we all need!
