This unit has lots of pro’s for the price.

I bought this unit for $190 from an ebay store. I got it in and out of the box it was a breeze to set up. I was listening to the THX sound demo in full digital surround in no time (god I love the THX demo).

One of the main reasons I bought this particular Home theater in a box is that it was the only one at this price range that has digital DTS decoding. This is essential for listening to all of the cool little sound tricks the newer DVD’s all have.

If your looking for really large sound this unit will probably not shake your foundation and keep your neighbors up all night. The sound quality is awesome it just doesn’t get all that loud.

The remote, although a little confusing, controls all aspects thoroughly. The lower cover of my remote never fit tightly.

It’s biggest drawback in my opinion is that it doesn’t have enough ports in back to connect other components through it. In other words if you set it up then run your cable/sat through it that’s it. Without getting a switch box you won’t be able to add a VCR etc.

All in all if you don’t mind a little creative wiring to get all your components wired around it, this is a great little home theater system.
