i bought this system in the summer of 2000. since then ive used it mainly in a bedroom (medium sized) and the sound fits the area well. the sound quality is great. the subwoofer has a selector 1-4 and off, its always on 4 for me. i love the features. i have everyone of them in use right now (aux, vcr, tv, fm/am, cd/dvd). i have the aux connected to my computer. sounds close to cd quality. i use the sleep funtion at night, it has selections of 30, 60, and 90 min sleep timer. the dvd player has 5 disc capability. it has many audio features that can change the directions of the sound from a center focus, to a multi room focus. to really test the sound on this thing, you need to put in a dvd and you will be amazed. i recommend the beginning of independence day. the changer takes a little long to eject and change discs, also its a little noisy (my only gripe). other than that i love this system.
